About the Role

We are looking for a motivated fresher with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering to join our Quality Control team. This role involves inspecting and testing instrument transformers (CTs/PTs) at various stages of manufacturing to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final inspection of raw materials, components, and finished transformers (CTs/PTs)

• Perform routine electrical tests (ratio, polarity, insulation resistance, HV, etc.) under supervision

• Record and maintain test data, inspection reports, and quality documentation

• Identify non-conformities and report deviations to senior QC/production staff

• Support calibration checks of testing instruments

• Assist in maintaining quality records for certifications and customer/DISCOM inspections

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols on the shop floor

Required Skills

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)

• Basic understanding of electrical measurements and transformer working principles

• Willingness to learn testing procedures and quality standards (IS specifications)

• Good observation skills and attention to detail

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel/Word for reporting)

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Internship or academic project exposure to electrical machines/transformers

• Familiarity with IS 16227 or similar transformer standards
