Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Executive with 2–3 years of experience in construction & rebar processing industry to ensure quality control in TMT bar cutting, bending, threading and dispatch processes. The candidate must be well versed with Indian Standard (IS) codes, construction practices, and quality inspection procedures applicable to reinforcement steel processing.

The role involves ensuring that all cut and bend rebars meet drawing specifications, bar bending schedules (BBS), and project quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control

Ensure TMT bars are cut and bent strictly as per approved Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) and drawings.

Verify diameter, length, bend angles, hook lengths, and shapes of rebars & threading before dispatch.

Conduct incoming material inspection of TMT bars including heat numbers, diameter verification, and mill test certificates.

Ensure compliance with IS codes and project specifications.

Inspection & Documentation

Maintain inspection records, quality checklists, and dispatch approvals.

Verify bar marking, tagging, bundling, and traceability.

Prepare daily quality inspection reports.

Maintain records of material test certificates (MTC).

Required Skills

Familiarity with IS codes related to reinforcement steel.

Good knowledge of construction quality standards.

Ability to perform dimensional inspection of rebars.
