Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator & Programmer with in-depth knowledge of CNC, VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe), and VTM (Vertical Turning with Milling) machines. The candidate must be capable of machine setting, tool selection, programming, and performing quality inspection using standard gauges and instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. CNC Machine Operations:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (Turning and Milling).

• Adjust tool offsets, change tools as required.

• Perform minor programming edits at the machine control panel.

• Ensure part conformity through in-process and final inspection.

2. VTL Machine Operations:

• Set up and program VTL machines based on part drawings and specs.

• Select and install cutting tools, chucks, and fixtures.

• Perform roughing and finishing operations.

• Conduct dimensional and visual inspection post-machining.

3. VTM (Vertical Turning with Milling) Operations:

• Set and operate VTM machines handling both turning and milling.

• Interpret 2D and 3D part drawings for programming.

• Conduct programming using Fanuc/Siemens or equivalent controls.

• Handle simultaneous operations and ensure cycle time optimization.

Inspection Knowledge:

• Use of precision measuring instruments like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Height Gauges, Dial Indicators, etc.

• Conduct in-process, first-piece, and final inspection.

• Record and report deviations or non-conformities.

• Coordinate with QC/QA teams for quality assurance.

Required Skills:

• CNC Machine Programming (Fanuc/Siemens/other controls).

• Tooling knowledge and cutting condition optimization.

• G-code and M-code understanding.

• Strong knowledge in blueprint/drawing reading.

• Hands-on inspection and quality control procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical or Production Engineering.

• Experience in CNC/VTL/VTM programming cum operator is a plus.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
