Job Description

• Casting Quality Control: Inspect raw and finished castings for internal and external defects like porosity, shrinkage, cracks, or sand inclusions.

• Machining & Dimensional Inspection: Monitor CNC turning, milling, and grinding operations; verify critical dimensions using Vernier calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

• Blueprint & GD&T Interpretation: Read and analyze complex engineering drawings, geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and material standards.

• Process Audits & Compliance: Conduct audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and review Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation.

• Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA): Investigate non-conformances, lead 8D/5-Why problem-solving analyses, and drive corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
