We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer (Sheet Metal) to ensure product quality and process compliance across sheet metal manufacturing operations. The candidate should have hands-on experience in inspections, quality tools, and customer/vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inward, in-process, and final inspections for sheet metal components
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T.
Ensure compliance with quality standards.
Use and maintain measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, profile projector, etc.
Monitor sheet metal processes: cutting, bending, punching, welding, laser cutting, and fabrication.
Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, check sheets, and records.
Support supplier audits and process audits.
The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma/ B.tech and 2 to 2.5 years of experience in Sheet Metal. Candidate should have Strong knowledge of sheet metal processes and Good understanding of quality tools (7 QC tools, FMEA, PPAP – preferred).
