The Quality Engineer (Fresher) will support the Quality Department by assisting in inspection, documentation, and monitoring of product quality at various stages of production. The role is suitable for candidates with basic knowledge of Incoming Material Inspection, measurement techniques, and quality standards.
Perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming raw materials and components.
Check documents such as test certificates, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
Identify non-conforming materials and report to the Quality Manager.
Maintain Incoming Inspection records and material traceability.
Assist in conducting in-process checks during manufacturing.
Ensure products meet specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
Support final inspection activities before dispatch.
Prepare inspection reports, checklists, and quality logs.
Maintain proper documentation as per ISO/Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
Support NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and CAPA documentation.
Use basic measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
Learn and apply basic quality tools (5S, 7QC tools, Pareto, Fishbone diagram).
Assist in calibration and upkeep of measuring instruments.
Assist in identifying minor process issues and suggesting improvements.
Support the quality team in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with the store, purchase, and production departments for quality-related matters.
Communicate inspection results and quality issues promptly to supervisors.
