Quality Control Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. To perform plant operations and other assigned tasks with strict adherence to approved procedures.

2. Responsible for understanding of all the process parameters and process steps as written in BMR.

3. To operate plant equipment and machinery as per defined SOP and perform various production operations such as

• Batch Charging.

• Layer Separations.

• Filtrations.

• Heating and cooling operations.

• Drying operations.

• Centrifuge operations.

• Powder processing operations.

• Operating process and purified water plant.

• Addition of critical raw materials.

4. Responsible for ensuring following points before batch charging

• Cross checking weights of raw materials.

• Checking of all the instrumentation on plant equipment for proper functioning and calibration before starting the batch.

• Operating the plant equipment through the control systems.

• Checking and confirming all the production accessories such as scoop, sampling bottles, labels, cleanroom garments are available and in cleaned condition.

5. Dispensing of raw materials for batch as per the quantities mentioned in BMR.

6. Responsible for sampling of in-process, intermediates, finished products as and when required.

7. Charging of raw materials, solvents from solid / liquid charging booth / day tanks etc.

8. Recording online production activities in production records as BMR, logbooks in clear and legible handwriting with due signatures.

9. Responsible for maintaining proper housekeeping and cleaning in general production areas and clean room areas.

10. Ensuring Safety in day to day production activities.

11. Management of Wastage generated during production like organic waste, scrap & liquid waste disposal.

12. Implementation yield improvement, cost & energy saving techniques.

13. Besides the above-mentioned jobs, associate shall perform other tasks that are assigned based on requirements.
