Key Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of valves and fittings.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports and documentation.
Conduct dimensional inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and pressure testing equipment.
Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
Monitor compliance with quality management systems and standard operating procedures.
Handle customer complaints and assist in root cause analysis.
Support internal and external quality audits.
Ensure products meet customer and industry quality requirements.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
1–5 years of experience in quality engineering within the valve, fittings, or manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA.
Familiarity with measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T is preferred.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office.
