Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems for glass processing operations (cutting, tempering, laminating, coating, insulating, etc.).
Conduct in-process and final product inspections to verify compliance with specifications (e.g., size, thickness, edge quality, optical clarity).
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and R&D to resolve quality issues and improve process efficiency and yield.
Analyze data from quality inspections, customer feedback, and non-conformities to identify trends and root causes.
Lead and participate in Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or other relevant standards and certifications.
Support and train production staff on quality standards and best practices.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including customer visits.
Manage and calibrate inspection tools and equipment (e.g., micrometers, thickness gauges, surface defect detection tools).
