We are looking for a Plastics/Polymer Engineer to work in our Quality Control and Testing facility. The candidate will be responsible for testing samples from live production batches, maintaining batch-wise quality records and coordinating with the production team to ensure products meet defined specifications.
Conduct tests such as MFI/MFR, impact, density/specific gravity, moisture and other applicable quality tests.
Inspect colour, appearance and physical condition of finished material.
Compare test results with internal and customer specifications.
Prepare and maintain batch-wise QC/testing reports.
The candidate will work with materials including ABS, HIPS, PPCP and Nylon compounds.
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of plastics processing and compounding.
Understanding of MFI/MFR, impact and density testing.
Basic knowledge of injection moulding and extrusion.
