Quality Control Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer with a strong background in electronics and hands-on experience in the cable harness manufacturing industry. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality, maintaining ISO documentation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering

Experience:

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in the cable harness or electronics manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure product and process quality as per defined standards.

• Conduct regular in-process and final inspections.

• Develop, maintain, and update ISO documentation (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.).

• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

• Support internal and external audits and facilitate compliance.

• Coordinate with production teams for quality improvements.

• Handle customer complaints and quality-related communication.

• Ensure usage of quality tools like 7QC tools, 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, etc.

• Prepare quality reports, MIS, and maintain proper records.

• Guide and support junior quality staff as needed.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and documentation practices

• Familiar with cable harness product standards and inspection techniques

• Proficient in MS Office and report generation

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and punctuality in documentation and reporting
