Quality Engineer responsible for developing quality assurance processes, conducting inspections and audits, performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain quality control and quality assurance procedures.
Conduct inspections, audits, and testing activities.
Analyze quality data and identify trends or recurring issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with design, production, and operations teams to improve product quality.
Create and maintain quality documentation, reports, and work instructions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Monitor supplier quality and support vendor audits.
Participate in process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as:
Six Sigma
Lean Manufacturing
Total Quality Management (TQM)
Investigate customer complaints and support resolution efforts.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in:
Mechanical Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Or a related field
Experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, or process improvement.
Knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with statistical analysis tools and reporting software.
