Quality Control Engineer

We are looking for a Site Inspection engineer to join our team AavishkarGroup in Mumbai location.

Job Description:

 ·     Review of fabrication, erection & shop drawings.

·     Review/ Prepare of QAP/ITP based on tender specification, drawing and Code of construction.

·     Stage wise inspection as per approved QAP/ ITP.

·     Site fabrication & erection inspection of steel structure, metal building/utility piping as per Drawing and Structural Welding Code AWS D1.1

·     Verifying materials received at Site as per drawings, detection of damaged materials during transportation, handling & storage.

·     Raw material Identification, sampling & lab test witness and review of Mill TC, Lab TC and welding consumable TC.

·     Review of calibration certificates of fabrication related instruments.

·     Review, witness & approval of Welding Procedure & Performance Qualification at Site/ Lab as per production job demand.

·     Establishing welding procedure and qualifying welders being deployed on the job.

·     Performing dimensional checks as per Client approved shop/ fabrication drawings.

·     Dimension & Weld visual inspection.

·     Preparation/ Approval of NDT (Visual, PT, MT, UT) procedure as per job requirement.

·     Marking the point for NDT and to ensure correctness of NDT as per procedure.

·     Review of surface preparation & painting procedure

·     Surface preparation (Blasting), Painting / Coating inspection and procedure review.

·     Witnessing dimensional checks before inserting and grouting of anchor rods, plate inserts etc. into existing RCC members.

·     Witnessing and verifying the torque applied for bolt tightening as per design intent.

·     Inspection release note (Fabrication & Erection).

·     Attending review meeting at site

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Industry-Construction/Pressure vessels 

·       B. E / B. Tech/ D.M.E-Mechanical-full time

·       ASNT Level (II) in UT, PT, RT, MT and VT

·       Exposed to national and International standard and code requirement

·       Knowledge of using MS-Office, and Auto CADD.

·     Min.2yrs experience in steel structures

• Preferred worked with Third party inspection

·       Fluent with English language

·       Ready to work in shifts and weekends

·       Flexibility to travel on PAN India Basis
