Job Description

Microbiologist | Quality Control & Assurance | CTC: ₹5.0 LPA

🔹 Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microbiologist to strengthen QC lab capabilities in pharma/API manufacturing, ensuring microbial testing, environmental monitoring, and regulatory compliance as per global standards.

🔹 Qualification

B.Sc / M.Sc in Microbiology / Applied Microbiology

🔹 Experience

Minimum 3 years in Pharma / API manufacturing

🔹 Location

Pithampur, Sector 1, Madhya Pradesh

🔹 CTC

₹5.0 LPA

🔹 Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct microbial testing: TVC, bioburden, sterility tests

• Perform environmental monitoring (cleanrooms, air, water systems)

• Prepare and review SOPs, protocols, and microbiology reports

• Investigate OOS results and prepare CAPA reports

• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and culture media

• Ensure compliance with IP, BP, USP, WHO guidelines

• Support regulatory audits (CDSCO, WHO-GMP, customer audits)

• Train lab staff on microbiology techniques and aseptic practices

🔹 Required Skills & Tools

• Microbial identification techniques (culture, staining, PCR)

• Hands-on experience with LAF, autoclaves, incubators

• Knowledge of pharmacopoeial microbiology standards

• Water testing (WFI, purified water)

• Familiarity with LIMS

• Strong documentation & data integrity (ALCOA+)

🔹 Preferred Qualifications

• M.Sc in Microbiology / Biotechnology

• Experience in WHO-GMP or Schedule M compliant facility

• Exposure to LAL, MLT, sterility testing

• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 211

• Audit handling experience (CDSCO, WHO, NABL)
