Job Description

Job Title: Quality Engineer/Assurance

Education: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all fabricated components and assemblies meet company and customer quality standards. The role involves implementing and maintaining quality control processes, conducting inspections, analyzing defects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product reliability.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process & final inspections of heavy fabricated structures.
- Perform NDT techniques (UT, RT, MPI).
- Ensure compliance with AWS, ASME, and ISO standards.
- Manage root cause analysis (CAPA) and quality documentation (ITP/QCP).

Key Skills :
- Experience in heavy fabrication/welding or structural quality control..
- Welding standards (AWS D1.1, ASME Sec IX, ISO 3834, etc.).
- Quality tools like 5S, Kaizen, 8D Problem Solving, FMEA, SPC and GD&T.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Excel, and ERP systems.
