Quality Assurance Executive

Job Title: Quality Executive (Fresher)

Location: Kundli, Sonipat

Job Summary:

The Quality Executive will assist in maintaining product quality by conducting inspections, testing raw materials and finished goods, and ensuring adherence to standard quality procedures. The role is ideal for ITI freshers who are eager to learn manufacturing quality processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspection & Testing

Conduct visual inspection of raw materials, in-process material, and finished goods.

Measure product dimensions using Vernier, micrometer, gauges, and other QC tools.

Perform basic quality tests as per SOP (tensile, bursting, pressure test, leakage test etc. – in hose pipe manufacturing).

2. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain quality reports such as Incoming Inspection Report (IIR), In-Process Inspection Report (IPIR), Final Inspection Report (FIR).

Record daily inspection data in QC logbooks or software.

Highlight defects and non-conforming materials to the team.

3. Process Monitoring

Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Support Quality Engineer/Manager in conducting root-cause analysis of defects.

Ensure material segregation: OK / Not OK / Rework.

4. Compliance & Safety

Follow company quality standards, SOPs, and safety guidelines.

Assist in maintaining 5S in QC area.

Skills Required:

Basic understanding of measurement instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Gauges).

Good observation and attention to detail.

Willingness to learn quality processes.

Basic MS Excel knowledge (optional but preferred).

Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.

Minimum Qualification:

ITI (Mechanical / Fitter / Plastics / Instrumentation / Production or related trade).

Freshers preferred.
