We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with 1–4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing product and process quality, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and driving continual quality improvements.
· Conduct in-process and final inspection of products and components.
· Monitor production quality and ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.
· Perform root cause analysis for non-conformities and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
· Prepare and maintain quality documents, inspection reports, and control plans.
· Coordinate with suppliers for incoming quality checks and issue resolution.
· Support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949 if applicable).
· Ensure proper calibration and use of measuring instruments like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, etc.
· Train operators and shop floor staff on quality procedures and best practices.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and design.
· Education: ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
· Experience: 1–4 years in a quality role within a manufacturing setup
· Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection techniques
· Familiarity with tools such as 7 QC Tools, 5 Why Analysis, and Pareto Charts
· Knowledge of ISO standards and basic quality systems
· Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
