Quality Assurance Executive

Job Title: Quality Executive

Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control
Reporting To: QA/QC Manager / Plant Head

Key Responsibilities:

• ✅ Review design plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), test protocols, and quality manuals to understand product functionality, compliance requirements, and scope.

• ✅ Identify root causes of quality issues or production defects and recommend or implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• ✅ Analyze quality data and inspection reports to detect trends in defects, aiming to reduce non-conformance and ensure continuous improvement.

• ✅ Provide technical support and quality insights to the product development and production teams throughout the manufacturing and inspection processes.

• ✅ Perform lab inspections, record results, and maintain annexures and reports as per company and regulatory standards.

• ✅ Approve and issue batch numbers to the production team post successful quality checks and validations.

• ✅ Ensure adherence to quality standards across goods, raw materials, warehouse conditions, and manpower hygiene.

• ✅ Monitor and maintain compliance with ISO, GMP, or other relevant industry quality standards.

• ✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams during audits, reviews, and quality assessments.

• ✅ Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the management in alignment with quality objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 🔹 Strong understanding of quality control methods, tools, and inspection techniques

• 🔹 Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, 5 Whys, Fishbone, or similar tools

• 🔹 Proficient in data analysis and quality documentation/reporting

• 🔹 Knowledge of lab instruments, safety, and test procedures

• 🔹 Familiarity with ISO/GMP/6 Sigma/Lean principles (preferred)

• 🔹 Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• 🔹 Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field

• 🔹 2–4 years of relevant quality control/assurance experience
