Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production & Quality Executive to manage daily production operations and maintain quality standards at our Jaggery Manufacturing Plant in Pune. The candidate will be responsible for supervising production activities, ensuring food safety compliance, monitoring quality parameters, maintaining reports, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve smooth factory operations.
This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about food manufacturing, process improvement, and maintaining high-quality production standards.
Key Responsibilities
Production Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day production activities and ensure timely completion of production targets.
Plan and allocate manpower effectively for smooth factory operations.
Monitor production processes to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Ensure proper utilization of raw materials and control wastage.
Maintain production records, MIS reports, and daily production logs.
Coordinate with Procurement, Maintenance, Logistics, and Sales teams for smooth workflow.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards on the production floor.
Identify production issues and take corrective actions promptly.
Support implementation of process improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
Quality Responsibilities
Conduct routine quality inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Assist in sampling and testing procedures as per quality protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation of quality reports and test results.
Coordinate with the production team to resolve quality-related issues.
Participate in internal audits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Support continuous improvement of quality control procedures and SOPs.
Monitor hygiene and food safety practices within the plant.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
3–4 years of experience in food manufacturing, production, or quality control.
Freshers with relevant educational background and strong learning attitude may also apply.
Knowledge of food safety standards, quality control procedures, and production operations.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation (MIS).
Good communication and team coordination skills.
Ability to work in shifts, including night shifts if required.
Additional Information
Male candidates preferred for this role as the position may involve night shifts.
Factory location is in the outskirts of Pune.

Preferred Skills
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices.
Experience in FMCG/Food Manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
Ability to handle shop floor operations independently.
