Job Title: QA/QC Engineer – Rubber & Tyre Moulding

📍 Location: Haridwar, Uttarakhand

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Quality Assurance:

• Develop and implement QA systems and documentation (ISO/IATF).

• Ensure compliance of raw material, in-process, and final product quality.

• Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards.

• Support documentation for PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans.

✅ Quality Control:

• Conduct in-process checks and final inspections of tyres/rubber parts.

• Operate instruments: Vernier, Micrometer, Shore Hardness, Rheometer, etc.

• Identify and report non-conformities; ensure corrective/preventive actions.

• Maintain inspection logs and testing records.

✅ Process & Continuous Improvement:

• Troubleshoot quality issues in collaboration with production.

• Use RCA tools like 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram for defect analysis.

• Implement process improvements for defect reduction and consistency.

✅ Documentation & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards.

• Maintain instrument calibration and quality audit records.

• Prepare and present monthly quality reports to management.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. – Mechanical, Polymer, or related.

• 5+ years’ experience in QA/QC, preferably in rubber or tyre moulding.

• Strong understanding of rubber compounding, moulding, and curing.

• Familiarity with quality tools: PPAP, SPC, MSA, Control Plan.

Skills Required:

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability

• Proficiency with QC instruments and test methods

• Strong documentation and reporting skills

• Good communication and leadership qualities

• Working knowledge of MS Office, ERP/QMS software

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

• Six Sigma or Internal Auditor (ISO/IATF) certification

• Experience with automotive OEM/Tier-1 quality systems

• Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements (CSR)
