Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Inspect plastic cartridges and other molded products during production.
Check product dimensions, weight, appearance, color, and finish.
Identify defects such as flash, short molding, sink marks, black spots, warpage, cracks, and contamination.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, gauges, and weighing scales.
Record inspection results and maintain quality inspection reports.
Segregate defective products and inform the production supervisor immediately.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and inspection procedures.
Monitor production quality at regular intervals.
Assist in root cause analysis of quality issues.
Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of inspection equipment.
Support internal audits and customer inspections when required.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 10th Pass / 12th Pass / ITI / Diploma (preferred).
1–3 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in plastic injection molding.
Freshers with good technical aptitude may also apply.

Required Skills

Good observation and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of plastic injection molding defects.
Ability to use measuring instruments.
Basic record-keeping and documentation skills.
Ability to work in shifts if required.
Good communication and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

Experience in plastic molding or packaging industry.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
Familiarity with first-piece, in-process, and final inspection.
