Continuously monitor sewing operations on the production line.
Check the quality of garments at various stages (initial, midline, endline).
Perform 100% inspection at critical operations or random checks as per sampling plan.
Identify stitching defects (e.g. open seams, skipped stitches, puckering).
Detect workmanship issues (wrong labels, incorrect attachments).
Mark defective pieces clearly for correction.
Immediately inform the line supervisor or operator about defects.
Provide corrective suggestions to avoid recurrence.
Coordinate with QA team for major or repeating issues.
Ensure that SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and buyer standards are being followed.
Monitor operator performance for quality consistency.
Prevent bulk defects by controlling early-stage issues.
Fill in line QC check reports (daily/hourly).
Maintain records of number of pieces checked, passed, and rejected.
Report defect types, frequency, and corrective actions taken.
Conduct or participate in quality briefings for operators.
Help train new operators on quality checkpoints and standards.
Understand and follow AQL standards for inspection.
Support final inspection by ensuring in-line quality aligns with shipment requirements.
