Overview:
We are looking for a Quality Control Executive to join our Production team. This role will be responsible to ensure quality at all stages of production across 4 QC looms after factory production, primarily focusing on fabric and apparel quality checks. The person will act as the bridge between the factory production team and Knya’s internal standards, ensuring that only defect free, high-quality products reach the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct end-to-end quality checks on fabric and apparel after production.
Identify defects (fabric issues, stitching errors, finishing problems, measurements, trims & packaging inconsistencies) and flag them immediately.
Maintain detailed QC reports and share findings with the Production & Sourcing team.
Ensure factories adhere to Knya’s quality guidelines and standards.
Collaborate with vendors and factory teams to resolve quality issues.
Approve or reject production batches based on inspection outcomes.
Suggest improvements in QC processes and help implement corrective measures.
Track rejection rates and recommend process improvements to minimize wastage.
Support in pre-production checks (PPC) and inline inspections when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Textile Technology / Apparel Production / Fashion Technology or related field.
4+ years of experience in quality control in apparel/fabric manufacturing (D2C or retail background preferred).
Strong knowledge of fabric types, apparel construction, stitching techniques, and garment finishing.
Hands-on experience with QC tools, measurement specs, and defect classification.
Good communication and reporting skills
Ability to travel to factories and stay closely involved with the production floor.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work under timelines.
