Job Summary
Econs Crop Protection Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced QC Assistant to support quality control operations at our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in the agrochemical or crop protection industry and possess strong knowledge of quality testing, documentation, and laboratory practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform quality testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished goods, and packing materials as per approved specifications.
Conduct routine physical and chemical analysis using standard laboratory procedures.
Maintain accurate testing records, analytical reports, and laboratory documentation in compliance with SOPs and GMP guidelines.
Ensure timely sample collection and testing to support production schedules.
Verify product quality before batch release and report any deviations immediately.
Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Prepare standard solutions, reagents, and maintain laboratory inventory.
Assist in the investigation of Out of Specification (OOS) results and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production, QA, and Warehouse teams to ensure quality compliance.
Ensure adherence to safety standards, 5S practices, and laboratory housekeeping.
Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
Follow ISO, GMP, and company quality management procedures.
Required Qualifications
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Agriculture, or a related Science discipline.
3–5 years of experience in Quality Control within the Agrochemical/Crop Protection/Pesticide manufacturing industry.
Good understanding of laboratory testing techniques and quality systems.
Familiarity with QC documentation, SOPs, COA preparation, and batch records.
Basic knowledge of laboratory instruments such as pH meter, viscometer, moisture analyzer, analytical balance, and other QC equipment.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
Preferred Skills
Experience working in formulation plants (EC, SC, SL, WP, WG, etc.).
Knowledge of ISO, GMP, and quality compliance requirements.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
