QA/QC Executive – Job Description (Pharmaceutical Industry)

Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Location: Thirubhuvanai Palayam, Puducherry 605107

Education: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc

Experience:Fresher to 5 years in Pharmaceutical field

Quality Assurance (QA) Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines (FDA, WHO, etc.).

• Review and approve:

• Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR)

• Batch Packaging Records (BPR)

• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Handle deviations, change controls, CAPA, and investigations.

• Conduct internal audits and support external regulatory audits.

• Monitor environmental controls and in-process checks.

• Support validation activities (Process, Cleaning, Equipment).

• Ensure proper documentation control and data integrity compliance.

• Release or reject raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

Quality Assurance (QC) Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

• Use laboratory instruments like HPLC, GC, and UV spectrophotometer.

• Record and maintain test results and reports.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) rules.

• Prepare chemicals and solutions for testing.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 0 - 5 years of experience.
