Full Time
Ensure in-process and final inspection of die-cast and machined components as per customer drawing and specifications.
Monitor quality at CNC, VMC, Lathe and other machining processes and ensure process parameters are followed.
Conduct first-piece, in-process and final inspection and ensure only OK components move to the next process/customer.
Control rejection, rework and customer complaints through proper identification and root-cause analysis.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, rejection reports, quality records and traceability records.
Coordinate with Production, NPD and Maintenance teams to resolve process and product quality issues.
Analyse defects using 5 Why, Fishbone and other root-cause analysis methods and implement corrective actions.
Ensure proper use and calibration/verification of measuring instruments, gauges and inspection equipment.
Support customer complaints, sample approval, PPAP and other customer quality requirements, as applicable.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce rejection/rework and improve product quality, process capability and customer satisfaction.
