Position Title: Sr. Executive / AM – Purchase and Projects

Reports to: Head of Business
Primary Objective:
Responsible for managing the procurement process, with a significant focus on international sourcing, particularly from China. To ensure timely acquisition of quality materials and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support the manufacturing operations.
Key Result Areas
Procurement:
· Identify, evaluate, and develop supplier relationships, particularly in China, to procure quality materials at competitive prices.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with international suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.
· Handle import documentation, logistics, and compliance with international trade regulations
Manage relationships with local suppliers to procure materials and services essential for production.Conduct market research to identify and onboard reliable vendors.
Supplier and Inventory Management:
· Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve any supply chain issues.
· Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and ensure optimal stock management.
· Coordinate with the production and sales teams to forecast material requirements accurately.
Quality Assurance:
· Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure materials meet company standards.
· Address and resolve any issues related to supplier quality discrepancies.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain comprehensive records of purchases, agreements, and supplier communications.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
Project Management
· Monitor project timelines and procurement schedules to align with business objectives.
· Coordinate with the production, sales, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
· Monitor project progress and address any delays or bottlenecks
Qualification, Skills and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
3-6 years of experience in procurement and project management, preferably in the construction or interiors industry.
Experience in international sourcing, with a focus on Chinese markets, is preferred.
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance requirements
