We are looking for a Purchase Manager to join our team at Mekr Technologies Private Limited. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹45,000 - ₹50,000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, components, and services
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
· Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings
· Approve Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure accuracy before release
· Analyze quotations and prepare comparative statements for decision-making
· Ensure timely delivery of materials as per production schedules
· Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Accounts departments
· Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement accordingly
· Maintain and update procurement records in ERP / Excel
· Evaluate vendor performance and handle vendor development
· Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements (GST, invoicing, etc.)
· Lead and guide the purchase team for efficient operations
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech / Graduate)
· Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes
· Good understanding of GST, invoicing, and compliance
· Fluent English

Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma and 3-6 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
