Job Description

Flowguards is looking for an experienced and responsible Purchase Professional to manage procurement activities, vendor development, material sourcing and purchase operations for our manufacturing unit.

The candidate should have good communication skills, strong negotiation ability and good knowledge of the purchase process in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.

• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.

• Source raw materials, components, spare parts and other required materials.

• Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate with suppliers.

• Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and maintain purchase documentation.

• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.

• Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely procurement.

• Maintain vendor records, quotations and purchase reports.

• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality and Accounts departments.

• Monitor material requirements and maintain proper inventory levels.

• Ensure quality, cost and delivery requirements are met.

• Develop alternative suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and uninterrupted supply.
  

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement.

• Experience in a manufacturing company will be preferred.

• Good knowledge of vendor management and material sourcing.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Good English speaking and communication skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Office / MS Excel.

• Strong follow-up and coordination skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Responsible, disciplined and result-oriented approach.
