Purchase Executive

Job Summary

The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required by the organization. This role ensures timely procurement at optimal cost, quality, and quantity while maintaining strong vendor relationships and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery time

• Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with vendors

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment

• Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs

• Track and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier details

• Resolve supplier-related issues such as delays, shortages, or quality concerns

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

• Analyze market trends and cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree

• Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or similar procurement role

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management

• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or procurement software

• Ability to multitask and work under deadlines

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 2 - 3 years of experience.
