Key Responsibilities
Vendor Sourcing: Research potential vendors, evaluate supplier capabilities, and build long-term business relationships.
Price Negotiation: Compare quotes and negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules for optimal value.
Order Management: Issue purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure timely material delivery to internal departments or sites.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory reconciliation to prevent shortages or excess supplies.
Record Keeping: Maintain updated databases of purchased products, invoices, delivery info, and cost-analysis reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience: 1 to 5 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Software: Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory software, or SAP/Oracle.
