Key Responsibilities

Source and develop reliable vendors for raw materials, consumables, and engineering components.

Review technical specifications and ensure procurement of correct quality materials.

Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.

Monitor purchase requisitions, delivery timelines, and inventory levels.

Coordinate with production, quality, and accounts teams for smooth supply operations.

Maintain updated records of vendors, pricing, and contracts.

Support cost-saving initiatives through alternate sourcing and vendor development.

Key Requirements

B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

1–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement in manufacturing/automobile industry.

Strong knowledge of raw materials, engineering components, and manufacturing processes.

Good negotiation, vendor management, and cost analysis skills.

Proficiency in MS Office; ERP system knowledge preferred.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
