Job Description

Key Responsibilities-

• Identify and develop reliable vendors for raw materials, components, and services.

• Float RFQs, compare quotations, and prepare comparative statements.

• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contracts.

• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements

• Coordinate with Production, Planning, and Stores for material requirements.

• Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays.

• Ensure materials meet technical specifications and quality standards.

• Coordinate with Quality team for inspections and approvals.

• Monitor purchase costs and work on cost reduction initiatives.

• Maintain procurement records, vendor data, and documentation.

• Evaluate vendor performance on quality, cost, and delivery

Experience 2 to 5 years in Sheet Metal Industry
