Purchase Executive

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to join our team. Handle end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials, components, consumables, engineering items, and other production requirements. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Roles and Responsibility:

  · Handle end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials, components, consumables, engineering items, and other production requirements.

  · Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service capabilities.

  · Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.

  · Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements and company procedures.

  · Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and avoid production interruptions.

  · Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, Engineering, and Finance for procurement-related activities.

  · Monitor open Purchase Orders and maintain appropriate delivery schedules.

  · Handle supplier issues related to quality, delivery, quantity, documentation, and commercial terms in coordination with relevant departments.

  · Support cost reduction initiatives through price negotiation, alternate sourcing, vendor development, and value engineering.

  · Maintain supplier records, quotations, purchase orders, and other procurement documentation.

  · Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.

  · Coordinate with Quality/Engineering teams for supplier development, inspections, and approval of new sources where required.

  · Ensure procurement is carried out in accordance with company policies, approved specifications, and quality requirements.

  · Assist in resolving invoice, GRN, material shortage, and purchase-related discrepancies.

  · Prepare and maintain MIS reports, procurement status reports, pending PO reports, and cost analysis.

  · Support periodic vendor negotiations and supplier performance reviews.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 2 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
