Purchase Executive

A Junior Purchase Executive is responsible for assisting in procurement and purchase planning of mechanical materials, components, and consumables. The role involves coordination with vendors, production, and stores to ensure timely material availability.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

1. Material Planning Support

Assist in preparing Material Requirement Plan (MRP)

Check stock availability with stores

Support in BOM understanding and execution

2. Procurement Activities

Float RFQs (Request for Quotation) to vendors

Collect and compare quotations

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO)

3. Vendor Coordination

Follow up with vendors for delivery status

Maintain vendor database

Support in vendor development

4. Order Tracking

Track pending orders and ensure on-time delivery

Inform seniors about delays or shortages

Coordinate with logistics if required

5. Documentation

Maintain records of POs, invoices, GRNs

Update data in ERP (Tally / SAP / Excel)

Assist in audit and documentation work

6.Quality & Stores Coordination

Coordinate with QA for incoming material inspection

Handle rejected materials and follow up for replacement

Materials Exposure:

Raw materials (MS, alloy steel, castings, forgings)

Bearings, fasteners, oil seals

Gearbox components, motors, couplings
