Purchase Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Purchase Executive to manage our procurement activities. You will be responsible for sourcing goods, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Management: Research potential vendors and compare quotations to ensure the best value.

• PO Processing: Raise Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders (PO) accurately based on departmental requirements.

• Negotiation: Support senior staff in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

• Order Tracking: Follow up with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time and resolve any shipment delays.

• Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance metrics for auditing.

• Inventory Monitoring: Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to prevent shortages or overstocking.

• Cross-functional Coordination: Work with Stores, Finance, and Production teams to align material availability with operational needs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.

• Experience: 1–2 years in procurement or a similar junior purchasing role.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting; familiarity with ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle) is a strong advantage.

• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and verbal/written communication skills.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 0 - 2 years of experience.
