Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors based on price, quality, and delivery speed.

• Request and compare quotations, negotiate contracts and prices with vendors.

• Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.

• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to ensure adequate supplies.

• Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and purchasing best practices.

• Maintain and update vendor database and track supplier performance.

• Handle import/export documentation and procedures, if applicable.

• Resolve any supply issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of industry trends and market conditions.
