esponsibilities

· Assist in sourcing mechanical items like pumps, valves, pipes, fittings, tanks, and accessories.

· Compare vendor quotations and prepare purchase comparisons.

· Create and update purchase orders and material follow-up sheets.

· Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, delivery timelines, and technical clarifications.

· Maintain vendor database and collect technical datasheets.

· Work with the design, QC, and project teams for material requirements.

· Track material dispatch, delivery status, and follow up for pending items.

· Support in preparing purchase reports and documentation.

Skills Required

· Basic understanding of mechanical components used in water treatment plants.

· Good knowledge of Excel, documentation, and purchase processes.

· Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and BOM.

· Strong negotiation and communication skills.

· Good coordination and time-management.

Education

· B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Freshers can apply).
