Job Description – Purchase Executive
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate rates.
Prepare and process purchase orders (POs).
Ensure timely procurement of materials as per requirements.
Follow up on deliveries, quality, and pending orders.
Maintain purchase records, MIS reports, and vendor documentation.
Coordinate with Stores, Accounts, Production, and SCM teams.
Skills Required
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Vendor management and supplier coordination.
Knowledge of purchase processes and inventory management.
Basic knowledge of GST, GST invoices, and e-way bills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/software systems.
Good follow-up, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience: 1–4years in purchase or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
