Job Description: Production Supervisor/Operations Manager (Ceramics, Resin & Art Manufacturing)
Department: Production & Operations
Location: On-site / Workshop
Employment Type: Full-time
Our Vision & Culture
We are a fast-growing, design-driven manufacturing company bridging the gap between artistic vision and scaled production. We craft premium products across ceramics, resin, and specialized mixed media. We are looking for an energetic, visionary leader who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, experiment, and turn artistic designs into flawless, dispatch-ready realities.
Role Overview
We are seeking a young, dynamic, and highly energetic Production Supervisor with a background in fine arts or design to bridge the critical gap between our production floor and sales pipelines. In this role, you will be the ultimate executioner—ensuring that creative designs move smoothly through our manufacturing processes (ceramics, resin pouring, and assembly), meet strict quality standards, and are packaged and fully prepared on time for sales dispatch.
This is not a traditional desk job. It requires a hands-on creator and leader who thrives in a workshop environment, enjoys problem-solving on the fly, and possesses the artistic sensibility to maintain design integrity during mass production.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Sales Synchronization: Actively manage and bridge the gap between incoming sales orders and production scheduling. Ensure the production floor is perfectly aligned with sales timelines and demands.
End-to-End Workflow Execution: Oversee daily production pipelines across specialized art mediums, specifically handling ceramics processing (kiln firing, glazing, molding) and resin processing (mixing, casting, curing).
Dispatch & Logistics Readiness: Take absolute ownership of finished goods post-production. Ensure all items are meticulously inspected for quality, securely packaged, tracked, and ready for dispatch exactly when needed.
Hands-On Workshop Leadership: Lead by example on the workshop floor. If a bottleneck occurs or a production run hits a technical snag, you must be ready to step in, roll up your sleeves, and physically assist in getting things done.
Quality Control & Aesthetic Integrity: Utilize your art background to supervise aesthetic details, ensuring color matching, textural quality, and finish details remain consistently excellent across batch productions.
Inventory & Resource Optimization: Monitor raw material levels (clays, glazes, resins, molds, packing materials) to eliminate any downtime or supply chain friction.
Required Profile & Qualifications
Educational Background: A degree or formal background in Fine Arts (BFA/MFA), Ceramic Design, Product Design, Sculpting, or a related creative discipline is highly preferred.
Material Technical Knowledge: Practical, hands-on experience working with ceramics, pottery, resin casting, molding, or general industrial craftsmanship.
Energy & Drive: A young, passionate, and energetic professional with a strong growth mindset who envisions scaling with a modern creative manufacturing brand.
Execution Mindset: Highly organized and action-oriented. You don’t just plan; you execute meticulously and ensure products cross the finish line.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to manage workshop artisans and craftsmen on one side, and coordinate smoothly with sales and logistics teams on the other.
What We Offer
An exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of creative art and structured manufacturing.
A vibrant, high-energy working environment with room for rapid career growth and autonomy.
Hands-on ownership of product cycles from raw material to distribution.
