Job Description – Production Supervisor
Position: Production Supervisor
Location: Sonipat, Haryana
Salary: 22 – 25 (CTC)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain quality standards, and manage shop-floor activities efficiently. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and targets.
Monitor manpower utilization and allocate resources effectively.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and production procedures.
Maintain production records, reports, and shift documentation.
Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdown resolution.
Implement and enforce safety policies and workplace discipline.
Minimize production losses, wastage, and downtime.
Train and guide operators and production workers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments for smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and shop-floor management.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, ERP preferred).
