Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Operations:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers.

  • Ensure production schedules are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

  • Allocate tasks to workers and manage workflow on the production floor.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor output to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Address product defects and initiate corrective actions when necessary.

  • Work closely with the QA/QC team to maintain standards.

• Team Leadership:

  • Train, coach, and evaluate production staff.

  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety.

  • Resolve employee issues or escalate as needed.

• Process & Efficiency Improvement:

  • Recommend and implement improvements to production processes.

  • Monitor machine utilization, minimize downtime, and optimize efficiency.

  • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Health & Safety:

  • Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Conduct safety checks and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment.

  • Report and investigate accidents or unsafe practices.

• Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports and downtime logs.

  • Communicate production updates and challenges to management.

  • Participate in daily production meetings.
