Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Production Supervisor to supervise daily production activities of FRP/Composite Rebars, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain product quality, and manage manpower and production resources efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor day-to-day FRP Rebar production activities.
Plan production as per daily/monthly targets and customer requirements.
Allocate work to production workers and monitor their performance.
Ensure proper operation of production machines and equipment.
Monitor raw material consumption and minimize production wastage.
Ensure products are manufactured according to required quality standards and specifications.
Coordinate with the Production, Quality, Store, Maintenance and Dispatch teams.
Maintain daily production reports, machine records, manpower attendance and material consumption records.
Identify production issues and coordinate with maintenance for timely resolution.
Ensure proper handling, storage and movement of finished goods.
Maintain cleanliness, discipline and safety standards on the production floor.
Train workers regarding production processes, quality requirements and safety procedures.
Monitor rejection, wastage and production efficiency and take corrective action.
Ensure timely completion of production orders and dispatch requirements.
Report daily production status, challenges and pending work to management.
Required Skills
Knowledge of manufacturing/production processes, preferably FRP/Composite Rebar manufacturing.
Good manpower handling and team-management skills.
Ability to achieve production targets under deadlines.
Basic knowledge of quality control and production documentation.
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel and production reporting.
Strong communication, discipline and leadership skills.
Qualification
Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Civil or a related technical field preferred.
