Production Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor with a strong background in the Plastic Manufacturing Industry. The candidate will be responsible for supervising daily production activities, managing manpower, ensuring production targets are achieved, maintaining product quality, reducing wastage, and ensuring smooth machine operations while following safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations and ensure timely completion of production targets.

• Manage production manpower, allocate work, and monitor attendance.

• Ensure smooth operation of Injection Moulding Machines and other production equipment.

• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdowns.

• Maintain production efficiency and minimize rejection, scrap, and wastage.

• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.

• Coordinate with Quality, Store, Dispatch, and Maintenance departments.

• Prepare daily production reports and update management.

• Ensure proper raw material utilization and minimize material loss.

• Monitor production planning as per customer requirements.

• Train production operators and helpers on work instructions and safety procedures.

• Maintain discipline, housekeeping (5S), and safety standards on the shop floor.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturing SOPs.

• Handle shift planning and manpower scheduling effectively.

• Support continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Plastic Manufacturing Processes.

• Experience in Injection Moulding / Plastic Processing.

• Ability to handle production planning and manpower management.

• Good knowledge of production documentation and reporting.

• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Leadership and team management abilities.

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, ERP preferred).
