Production Supervisor – Duties & Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
Supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets.
Ensure smooth operation of paper cone manufacturing machines and processes.
Monitor production schedules and coordinate with management to meet delivery deadlines.
Minimize production downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Manpower Management
Supervise production workers.
Allocate manpower effectively across shifts and production lines.
Train employees on production procedures, quality requirements, and safety practices.
Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and performance.
Coordinate with stores and procurement departments to avoid production delays.
Reduce material wastage and optimize resource utilization.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce workplace safety rules and company policies.
Ensure workers use appropriate safety equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized production area (5S practices).
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily production reports, shift reports, and performance summaries.
Maintain records of production output, wastage, downtime, and quality issues.
Communicate production status and challenges to management.
Continuous Improvement
Suggest and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Quality Check - Key Duties & Responsibilities (Female 2 Nos)
1. Quality Inspection & Testing
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of paper cones.
Verify dimensions, weight, hardness, moisture content, winding quality, and finish as per specifications.
Ensure products comply with customer requirements and quality standards.
Approve or reject products based on inspection results.
2. Process Quality Control
Monitor production processes to ensure consistent product quality.
Identify quality deviations and take immediate corrective actions.
Work closely with production supervisors to resolve quality issues.
Conduct regular line audits and process checks.
3. Defect Analysis & Corrective Actions
Investigate product defects and customer complaints.
Perform root cause analysis for quality failures.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Follow up to ensure corrective measures are effective.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain quality inspection records and test reports.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
Record rejection, rework, and wastage data.
Maintain traceability records for production batches.
5. Team Supervision
Supervise QC inspectors and quality staff.
Train employees on quality standards, inspection methods, and procedures.
Ensure adherence to quality control processes throughout production.
6. Customer & Compliance Requirements
Ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
Support customer audits and quality assessments.
