Plan, schedule, and oversee daily production activities to meet output and quality targets.
Ensure efficient use of manpower, machinery, and materials to reduce downtime and waste.
Monitor and implement GMP, HACCP, and other food safety standards.
Supervise production staff, provide training, and ensure a safe working environment.
Coordinate with the procurement and quality departments to maintain raw material standards.
Maintain accurate production reports, inventories, and daily logs.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions to avoid delays.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with government and company policies regarding hygiene and safety.
Conduct regular audits and support in preparing for third-party inspections.
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 10 years of production management experience in an FMCG company, preferably in rice, pulses, or spices manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of production planning, quality assurance, and packaging operations.
Proficient in managing teams, processes, and production targets.
Experience in ERP systems or production software is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the food processing sector.
