Job Description

Production Leadership

Capacity & OEE Optimization: Lead daily operations across multi-ton machine cells (ranging from micro-molding to heavy-tonnage presses); maximize OEE, minimize cycle times, and eliminate scrap rates.

Production Planning: Partner with supply chain and scheduling teams to synchronize production runs, minimize mold-changeover downtime (SMED implementation), and meet fluctuating customer demands.

2. Tooling

Tooling & Asset Management: Oversee toolroom operations, preventive mold maintenance, and tool life-cycle tracking. Collaborate with product design teams during Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews for new mold construction, hot runner systems, and core-pull sequences.

3. Quality Assurance & System Compliance

Root Cause Analysis: Drive rapid response troubleshooting for complex defects (e.g., flash, splay, burn marks, warping, short shots) using structured methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa).
