Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control the manufacturing process to meet production schedules and quality targets.

• Supervise and lead production teams, including shift supervisors, machine operators, and line workers.

• Monitor production metrics such as output, downtime, efficiency, and wastage; implement corrective measures as needed.

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations across all plant operations.

• Coordinate with departments including Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to maintain smooth workflow.

• Manage manpower allocation, shift scheduling, and performance evaluation of production staff.

• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns and ensure equipment reliability.

• Implement lean manufacturing principles, cost control measures, and process improvement initiatives.

• Prepare and present production reports to senior management with data-driven insights.

• Support new product introductions and ensure production readiness for new launches.
