Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling & Planning

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.

• Allocate resources based on manpower, machine availability, and order priority.

• Track progress and adjust schedules when needed.

• Material Planning

• Coordinate with the purchase team for raw material requirements.

• Maintain minimum stock levels and avoid material shortages.

• Order Management

• Review customer orders and plan production timelines.

• Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery.

Coordination with Departments

• Liaise with production, purchase, quality, dispatch, and warehouse teams.

• Communicate delays, bottlenecks, or issues effectively.

• Monitoring & Reporting

• Maintain production dashboards and MIS reports.

• Analyze productivity, machine utilization, and production efficiency.

• Update management on daily production achievements.

• Process Improvement

• Identify gaps in production workflow.

• Support implementation of process improvements and lean practices.

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong analytical and planning skills

• Good communication and coordination abilities

• Knowledge of production processes (FMCG / manufacturing preferred)

• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP / SAP (if applicable)

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate / Diploma in Engineering, Operations, or related field

• 1–3 years of experience in production planning (FMCG / manufacturing preferred)
