Production Manager

ey Responsibilities:

• Scheduling:

  Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for compressor parts, considering factors like material availability, machine capacity, and labor resources. 

• Inventory Management:

  Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods, ensuring sufficient stock to meet production needs while minimizing waste and storage costs. 

• Coordination:

  Collaborate with engineering, procurement, quality control, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth production flow. 

• Demand Forecasting:

  Analyze sales forecasts and customer orders to anticipate future production needs and adjust schedules accordingly. 

• Production Monitoring:

  Track production progress against schedules, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions. 

• Quality Control:

  Ensure that all compressor parts produced meet quality standards and specifications. 

• Continuous Improvement:

  Identify opportunities to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. 

• Reporting:

  Generate reports on production status, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics for management review. 

• Safety Compliance:

  Ensure that all production activities adhere to safety regulations and guidelines. 

• Record Keeping:

  Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and other relevant data. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of production planning principles and techniques.

• Proficiency in using production planning software and tools.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Knowledge of compressor parts and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.

• Organizational and time management skills.
